Privacy Notice - Foreigners
Pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation, Journal of Laws UE L 119 of 04/05/2016, p. 1, as amended), hereinafter referred to as "GDPR", we would like to inform you that:

- Your personal data is gathered for the purposes of the proceedings regarding the legalization of stay and employment of foreigners in the territory of the Republic of Poland, in accordance with the Act of 12 December 2013 on foreigners, the Act of 14 July 2006 on entry into the territory of the Republic of Poland, stay and the departure from this territory of citizens of the European Union Member States and their family members, by the Act of April 14, 2004 on employment promotion and labor market institutions, pursuant to Art. 6 sec. 1 lit. c and art. 9 paragraph 2 lit. g GDPR.
- Your personal data may be shared with other authorized organisations where we have an appropriate legal basis to do so under the GDPR. The organisations are either contracted by, or subject to agreement with the Office to fulfil its legal and official functions. They may process personal data on our behalf and under our direction when the processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority.
- We will keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for permitted purposes, including data storage.
- Under the GDPR you have the right to request your personal information, object to and ask to restrict our use of your personal information, and to ask us to rectify or delete your personal information. However, there may be a number of legal or other official reasons why we need to continue to keep or use your data. You also have the right to complain to the Office about the way we handle your information or respond to your requests for access to your personal information or the exercise of your other rights under the GDPR.
- You also have the right to complain to the Personal Data Protection Office.
- We have a duty to safeguard and ensure the security of your personal information. The Office collects and processes personal information to fulfil its legal and official functions.
- Your personal data will not be disclosured or transferred to third countries and will not be used for an automated decision-making including profiling.
