Due to numerous reports to the office about dishonest practices used by intermediaries in residence permit applications, we remind you that involving an intermediary in your case:
- does not guarantee getting the permit
- does not shorten the duration of the proceedings
- may actually prolong the process by failing to take necessary actions, not responding to office requests, or deliberately delaying the administrative procedure to extort additional funds from you
- exposes you to additional costs
- does not affect the work of the official handling your case!
So, take matters into your own hands and handle the case without intermediaries!
By doing this:
- You won’t be charged anything extra
- You’ll receive direct information from the office about your case and can respond immediately to requests
- You won't be exposed to the risks of an unreliable intermediary’s actions or inactions

- Go to mos.cudzoziemcy.gov.pl and create an account
- Review the information and the list of common mistakes
- Watch the instructional video prepared by UDSC
- Complete the application according to the on-screen instructions
- Print the form and sign it
- Send the application and other required documents by mail. Done!
Want to appoint a representative? Remember!
- The fee for the permit is set by law, so be careful about hidden intermediary costs. The fee for a temporary residence permit is 440 PLN, and for power of attorney is 17 PLN.
- The office does not charge any additional fees beyond those listed on the website.
- Check the office page for the exact fee for your application. You’ll find all fees HERE, as well as secure payment links for each type of permit in the PROCEDURES section.
- By choosing the wrong representative, you can lose control over your case.
- If you have doubts about their honesty, you can always revoke them. Be sure to inform us of the revocation. If you don’t, we’ll deliver documents only to them! Dishonest intermediaries can expose you to financial losses and legal issues.
- If your representative misses a deadline or doesn’t collect correspondence, you’ll bear the consequences of their improper actions.
- Demand timely updates from your representative about the progress of your case.
