Stamp in the passport

If you applied for a residence permit during your legal stay in Poland and your application is free from any formal defects, you will receive a stamp in your passport, which certifies that your application was filed. Your stay in Poland is considered to be legal from the date of applying to the date on which the decision on granting a residence permit becomes final. The stamp does not entitle you to travel abroad.
