I have applied for temporary residence permit for studying purpose. I was wondering if my civil-law contract can be my confirmation of having sufficient funds to cover my stay in Poland?

If you applied for temporary residence permit for studying purpose, certificate of employment and amount of salaries, issued not earlier than one month before the date of submitting the application for a temporary residence permit, can be a confirmation of having sufficient funds to cover your stay in Poland. But bear in mind that if there will be any doubt as to the reliability of your declared purpose of stay in Poland, we might not grant you the permit (it depends on number of hour of work and number of working days) . In order to avoid this situation, always remember to indicate your main purpose of stay in Poland in the application form. If work is your main reason of stay in Poland you should change your application to be dealt as temporary residence and work permit.
