NO - as an employer you are obliged to:

  • obtain a seasonal work permit or a standard work permit;
  • before the foreign national starts working, check the document that legalizes their stay in Poland and keep a copy of this residence document;
  • sign an employment or civil law contract with the foreign national that is consistent with the employment conditions specified in the permit or declaration, no later than on the first day of work;
  • provide the foreign national with a translation of the contract in a language they understand;
  • submit a copy or scan of the contract with the foreign national to the relevant authority;
  • inform the Voivode (provincial governor) about any changes to the employment conditions specified in the work permit;
  • exercise due diligence in the procedure for obtaining a work permit.
