Check-list - Posted workers

  • Online application completed in the Case Handling Module,

  • 1 digital photograph,

  • Scans/photos of all pages of a valid travel document (original available for inspection). In particularly justified cases, if you do not possess a valid travel document and are unable to obtain one, you may scan another document confirming your identity,

  • confirmation of the payment of stamp duty

Documents required to be granted the permit:

  • Work permit in connection with the posting (secondment) of a foreigner by a foreign entity to the territory of the Republic of Poland – this permit is issued if you perform work for a foreign employer and if you are delegated to the territory of the Republic of Poland for a period exceeding 30 days in a calendar year to a branch or plant of a foreign subject or to an affiliated subject, within the meaning of the Act of 26 July 1991 on Personal Income Tax, with a foreign employer.  Competent Governor is one of the region within which the seat of the subject to which you are delegated is placed.
Work permit in connection with the posting (secondment) of a foreigner by a foreign entity to the territory of the Republic of Poland must be valid for at least three months at the time of the temporary residence decision.
It must be clear from the secondment letter and the secondment contract that you have been posted to work for at least three months at the time of the temporary residence decision! You must submit the letter of secondment and the secondment agreement in the original language, but also remember to submit its translation into Polish by a sworn translator.
