We've recently seen new cases of individuals pretending to be employees of the Department for Foreigners at the Wielkopolska Voivodeship Office in Poznań. They're sending fake emails claiming there are issues with residence applications or offering refunds — all in an attempt to steal personal information, financial details, or money.
These messages often come from unofficial email addresses and look like they're from our office or the Voivode of Wielkopolska.
Please be careful:
- Don’t reply to suspicious emails.
- Report any fraud attempts to us.
- Remember: All our official emails come from @poznan.uw.gov.pl.
Also, getting a temporary residence permit means you need to submit documents listed on our website and you can follow the status of your case directly from our website.
If you’re not sure about the message you got from our Office, call our helpline at 61 850 8777 or use our contact form to report anything suspicious.
Stay safe!
