We are pleased to announce that from February 18, 2020, a new information service of the Department for Foreigners of the Office of Wielkopolska Province in Poznań has been launched.
We have prepared detailed information on legalization procedures, many useful tips and functionalities. The website is also available in foreign languages - English and Russian. Change the language version of the site by clicking the flag in the upper right corner.
We know how complicated and incomprehensible the provisions on foreigners in Poland can be, which is why we worked hard to provide information so it is easier to follow and understand. We have also prepared tools that will allow you to navigate through legal regulations so that you can find what you are looking for much faster.
News on the site:
Procedures - in this section you will find all the necessary information about legalizing your stay in Poland. All you have to do is choose the purpose of your stay in Poland and you will find out when, where and what documents you will need to get a residence permit. Under the articles you will find two icons - the option to print the content and send it by e-mail.
Dictionary - we gathered the terms most often used in our regulations amd explained them in simple words so they are easier to understand. We focused on practical meaning of the words to lay out the definitions. We split the dictionary into sections by topic to make it easier to find what you are looking for. Dictionary hints can also be found in procedures - in the sidebar on the right.
Tips - we have prepared additional information in which we discuss in detail some of the important stages of the procedures. For example, we explain how to complete the application to avoid frequently repeated mistakes, or help to understand when the Labour Market Test is needed etc.
FAQ - we've improved and updated frequently asked questions section. All questions are grouped into categories and are additionally posted where you need them - that is, under the articles on procedures in question.
Online payments - we have launched the option of making online payments for the applications/procedures. From today on , you can pay directly from our website for stamp duties, application fees or a residence card. To do this, follow these simple steps: select the type of permit and purpose of your stay, go to section: What documents do I need?, click "pay online" and follow the on-screen instructions. The amount and account number of the appropriate office are already provided, so you will avoid any mistakes. You can also reach online payments directly from the "Fees" tab in the bottom service bar.
Contact forms - we've created dedidacted forms to help you contact us. You can send a message / question on your specific case or a question about the procedures.
E-guides - on our website you will also find a unique, interactive migration guide where we take a more tailored approach to your needs. We advise you on what requirements you must meet if you plan to come to Poland and what to do to extend your stay in our country. We have prepared a few questions that will help to give you an answer whether you need a visa to enter Poland and what to do, if you wish to stay longer. The third guide is a tool dedicated to employers who want to employ migrants. If you are an entrepreneur and plan to employ foreigners and you do not know how to start the formalities, we will guide you through the complexities of procedures and answer the question - who needs a work permit and how to get it.
Alerts and news - in the information block on the main page you will find all the necessary news and alerts regarding migration issues. We will inform you about changes in regulations and other important events in the area of migration.
Forms - in the upper right corner you will find a tab with all the necessary forms - applications and others. We have divided them into categories so that you can find them more easily. All you have to do is select the type of permit you are applying for.
Search engine - in the upper right corner you will also find a "magnifying glass" - by entering any words, you will find the contents of the website you are looking for. You can set the scope of your search - all you have to do is mark the options, e.g. search only in "procedures". If you are looking for content in a foreign language, select the appropriate option and only documents in the language of your choice will be displayed.
