My visa is about to expire. Should I apply for a residence card due to other circumstances or for a visa extension?

Based on the regulations introduced on 31/03/2020, if your visa expires from 14/03/2020, it is automatically extended for the duration of the epidemic status and an additional 30 days after cancellation of the epidemic emergency/epidemic status.

If you intend to and will be able to leave Poland before the expiry of this extended period, you do not have to submit any additional applications.

If you want to stay in Poland for longer, you should apply for a temporary stay within 30 days following the date of cancellation of the epidemic emergency/epidemic status.
