No, you need to collect your residence card in person. When you collect your card, the you need to be fingerprinted in order to verify the data stored electronically in the card chip.

I submitted my application in Leszno. Is it possible to collect my card in the main office in Poznań?
Yes. At the time of applying or during the procedure, you need to submit a written request in which you appoint where you would like to collect your card (Poznań, Konin, Leszno, Kalisz or Piła). Information as to where your card is to be collected can be checked at: https://www.poznan.uw.gov.pl/cudzoziemcy-stan/. If the status of your case says: „The residence card is to be collected in [name of the city]”, it means you can come and collect it.
If your residence card is already printed out and ready to be collected, and you changed your concerning the place in which you would like to collect it, please let us know by sending us an e-mail at: firstname.lastname@example.org along with your request to send your residence card to a different city, enclose your name, surname and your case number.
The residence card can be collected in our main office or in one of our regional offices located in Kalisz, Leszno, Konin, Piła. Do not forget to check if your card is ready o pick up. Information is available in our application.
How long will I wait for my residence card to be issued, after the residence permit has been granted?
The printout of the residence card will be ordered once you have submitted the proof of fee payment along with a current confirmation of the registered address, or a written request to print out the card without the address. The residence card is usually issued within 3-4 weeks from the date the printout is ordered. The status of your case can be followed on our website.
The foreigner has received a decision on granting a temporary residence and work permit. What should I do to receive a temporary residence card?
A fee of PLN 50 should be paid for printing the card and a valid confirmation of registered address should be provided to the Office if you would like your address details to be printed on the card; or a request for a residence card to be printed without a registered address on it.

- In order to obtain a residence card, you must apply for one of the above mentioned residence permits. Before submitting the application, make sure you are entitled to the permit requested.
I was granted an invitation for a friend, but the consul issued a visa for a shorter period of time than it was indicated in the invitation. Why?

No. The invitation will be sent to the address you have indicated in the application form. But if you prefer to collect the invitation in person from our Office, you should inform about it during the procedure.
Is it possible to extend my stay in Poland? I arrived here on the visa issued based on the invitation.
Yes. You can apply for visa extension or for the temporary residence permit/permanent residence permit.
You should send the invitation (in original) to the foreigner you are inviting. S/he should submit the received invitation together with the visa application in the consulate when applying for visa.
