Important Updates to the Residence Application Process

important update

To streamline the process for submitting applications for temporary residence, permanent residence, and EU long-term resident status, new rules for scheduling appointments at the Department for Foreigners will take effect from October 1 of this year.

Starting October 1, all applications must be submitted by mail to the Department for Foreigners in Poznań or at one of our regional offices. Applications must be submitted no later than the last day of the foreigner’s legal stay in Poland.

Online registration for submitting applications will be discontinued.
The updated rules will apply to all locations where the Department handles foreigner cases, including Poznań, Kalisz, Konin, Leszno, and Piła.

Please ensure that all applications are fully completed, signed, and accompanied by the necessary attachments and fees. Incomplete applications or missing documents will result in longer processing times. We encourage you to complete applications online using MOS.
After submitting your application, you can schedule an appointment for attendance, fingerprinting, and passport presentation via the case status tracking page.
For more details, please review the guidelines.
