An application submitted electronically through the Case Handling Module (MOS) must be signed with the foreign national’s qualified electronic signature or Trusted Signature. If the application is submitted on behalf of the foreign national by a legal representative — such as a parent, guardian, or court-appointed guardian — it must be signed using that person’s qualified electronic signature, personal signature, or Trusted Signature.

Any proceedings suspended on your request you can reopen anytime by submitting a request to reopen proceedings. It doesn't require any special justification. All you have to do is write that the suspended proceedings can be taken up again. Do remember to let us know if there are any changes to your address. You have 3 years to request to reopen your case, counted from the suspension date. After that, we shall assume, that you do withdraw your application altogether and your case will be closed.

Sufficient means describes the minimum of the financial means that you need to cover the costs of living in Poland. Their amount may be changed. Currently the minimum is 776PLN per month if you are in a single household or 600PLN per person in a family household. Starting from January 1, 2025, these amounts will be 1,010 PLN for a single-person household and 823 PLN for an individual in a family.

Any time, when you apply for a temporary residence permit/permanent resident permit/residence permit for EU long-term resident/replacement of residence card, your fingerprints will be recorded. Fingerprints are required from all applicants who have turned 6. If you send your application via post, your attendance will be required to provide fingerprints. Fingerprints are taken by electronic means of capturing fingerprints. Fingerprints are stored on your residence card to identify the holder of the card.
