Если Ваше пребывание на территории Республики Польша будет продолжаться более 3 месяцев, Вы должны зарегистрировать свое пребывание, а если с Вами путешествует член семьи, который не является гражданином ЕС,  он обязан получить вид на жительство для члена семьи гражданина ЕС.

Это не изменилось после выхода Великобритании из ЕС, согласно договору от 31.12. 2020г.

After 5 years of uninterrupted stay on the territory of the Republic of Poland you shall acquire the right of permanent residence.

A family member who is not an EU citizen shall acquire the right of permanent residence after 5 years of uninterrupted stay on the territory of the Republic of Poland with an EU citizen  and can be issued permanent residence card of a family member of an EU citizen.

When should I apply?

The application for registration of the residence of the EU citizen you should submit in person no later than on the next day after the expiration of 3 months period from the date of entry into the territory of the Republic of Poland.

Minors are not required to submit their application in person.

If you intend to stay in the territory of Poland for period exceeding 3 months you are required to register your residence. You should submit application together with proper documents for your purpose of stay at the Office of Wielkopolska Province. If you fail to comply with the obligation to register your residence on the territory of the Republic of Poland you will be subjected to a fine.

Based on the agreement on the withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union, in a transitional period until December 31, 2020. the rules for entry and residence of United Kingdom citizens in Poland remain unchanged.

Residence for over 3 months

If the residence in the territory of the Republic of Poland lasts longer than three months, an EU citizen and a member of his family who are nationals of the EU are required to register their stay, and a family member who is not an EU citizen is required to obtain a residence card of a family member of an EU citizen.

Residence registration obligation does not apply to an EU citizen who has the right of residence in order to seek employment, as discussed above.
