We would like to inform you that beginning Monday, December 16, 2024, updated service procedures will take effect in Service Rooms A and B.
In Service Room A:
- BOX 1-2 will handle the issuance of residence cards and other documents.
- BOX 3-11 will manage reservations for personal appointments and fingerprint collection before receiving an official summons.

We are gradually rolling out the option to schedule in-person appointments for fingerprinting and passport presentation for applications submitted in October of this year.
The appointment calendar will become available based on the submission date of your application.
This applies to applications submitted at any of our locations.

Data: 20.09.2024 Important Updates to the Residence Application Process
To streamline the process for submitting applications for temporary residence, permanent residence, and EU long-term resident status, new rules for scheduling appointments at the Department for Foreigners will take effect from October 1 of this year.
Starting October 1, all applications must be submitted by mail to the Department for Foreigners in Poznań or at one of our regional offices. Applications must be submitted no later than the last day of the foreigner’s legal stay in Poland.

Legal Residence for Ukrainian Citizens
The legal residence of Ukrainian citizens (and specified family members) who arrived in Poland due to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine between February 24, 2022, and September 30, 2025, has been extended until September 30, 2025. The amendment to the regulations has been published in the Journal of Laws and will come into effect on July 1, 2024.

Fill out online application forms at MOS

MOS (Case handling Module) in 5 steps:
- Go to mos.cudzoziemcy.gov.pl and create an account
- Read the information and the list of the most common mistakes
- Fill in the electronic application form
- Print it out and sign
- Send the application form together with other required documents by traditional post or present them in person during a scheduled appointment
If you have a UKR PESEL number, from 1st April 2023 send the application only by post!
