Customers, who have sent their applications for temporary residence permit to The Office of Wielkopolska Province via traditional post will receive a letter from us relating to fulfilment of formal requirements including to provide fingerprints.
Aplications that have been sent via tradicional post, first will be registered in our online application (Foreigners - Check case status) and then verified in order to check if formal requirments were met (requirments to obtain a stamp in your passport). After formal verification, customers will receive a letter from us relating to fulfilment of formal requirements and submittion of documents. In the letter customers will also be given a phone numer so to schedule an appointment for fingerprints. Scheduling an appointment for fingerprints will be only possible for customers whose applications have been formally verified (it is checked during a phone conversation). After fulfilment of formal requirements applications will be sent to the Police, Border Guard and the Internal Security Agency for futher verification.
After fulfilment of all formal requirments including personal appearance, we will check if all documents required to be granted a temporary residence were provided. At this stage of the procedure customers might receive another letter from us relating to submition of documents or explanations that will be necessary to issue a decision.
Due to the high number of applications for a temporary residence permit (between January and April over 12,000 of applications for temporary residence permit were submitted) procedure time (for both formal and substantive verification) is relatively long.
The online application (Foreigners - Check case status) contains the most up-to-date status of the case and it is not necessary to confirm that by calling our office. Our helpline will not provide any additional information other than the one in the online application.
Scheduling an appointment for fingerprints can only be arranged by online registration or the phone number provided in the letter from our office (only for customers whose applications have been formally verified).

In order to get the residence permit faster customers should submit an application completed in accordance with the instructions and fulfill all the requirments to obtain a stamp in the passport providing all necessary documents required to be granted a temporary residence permit, including the correct confirmation of the stamp duty payment. If the payment will be made to the incorrect account it might also extend the duration of the procedure.
Payments for issueing the residence card should be made to the account of The Office of Wielkopolska Province.
