YES. The annotation "student" is placed on the residence card in the case of a permit granted for studies, i.e., under Article 144 of the Law on Foreigners.
A foreigner with a temporary residence permit granted in the Republic of Poland due to the circumstances referred to in Article 144 of the Law on Foreigners (due to full-time studies in Poland) is exempted from the obligation to have a work permit.

A permit for post-secondary education may be granted for the period of education at school, not longer than for a period of 12 months. To obtain a permit, you are oblidged to proof having:

- in the case of a single person - at least PLN 701 net / month for each month of education + PLN 200 / PLN 2,500 for a return ticket to the country of origin / residence (citizens of countries neighboring Poland - PLN 200, citizens of other countries - PLN 2,500).

- if you run a common household with your family or have family members dependent - at least PLN 528 net / month per family member for each month of education + PLN 200 / PLN 2,500 for a return ticket to the country of origin / residence for each family member (citizens of neighboring with Poland - PLN 200, citizens of other countries - PLN 2,500).

Yes. The status of a FULL-TIME student entitles to work without a work permit.

Yes. However, you should remember that during the procedure for granting a temporary residence permit, the main purpose of your stay in Poland may be verified. If you work full-time and earn your living, this may result in a negative decision in the case of applying for a permit for the purpose of studies.

If you work full-time, you should apply for temporary residence and work. While staying in Poland on the basis of a temporary residence and work permit, you can continue your studies.

Yes. In order to reclassify the purpose of the application, a written declaration must be submitted regarding the change  of the stay from work to study purpose.

You can insure yourself by submitting an application to the National Health Fund for voluntary health insurance. All you need is a document confirming legal stay in the territory of the Republic of Poland  and confirmation of full -time student status.

You can also insure yourself with private health insurance that covers all medical treatment costs in the territory of the Republic of Poland.

The length of the procedure for granting a temporary residence permit depends on fulfilment of all formal requirements including providing fingerprints and whether documents confirming the fulfillment of all conditions for granting the permit are attached.

In the case of applications for a temporary residence permit for the purpose of studies, you should pay attention to update the current documents from the university on an ongoing basis - in the case of promotion for the next semester of studies, you can send a current certificate confirming the student's status at the next semester, a copy of the evaluation card for the current one together with confirmation of payment of all tuitions fees for the next semester.
