Travel restrictions announcement

We inform that due to the current epidemiological situation, according to the Regulation of the Minister of the Interior and Administration of 13th March 2020 (Dz. U. z 2020, poz. 435) effective 15th March 2020, from 00.00 hrs, most of the border crossings with the Russian Federation, the Republic of Belarus and Ukraine are closed for entry and some of them have limited border traffic.

Please be advised that following the § 8 of the Regulation of the Minister of Health of March 13, 2020, regarding the announcement of an epidemic emergency in the territory of the Republic of Poland (Dz. U. poz. 433), the Governor of Wielkopolska Province introduced as follows:

from March 16th, 2020 (Monday) until further notice to impose the restriction on the functioning of the Wielkopolska Province Office of Poznań consisting of performing only tasks necessary to assist citizens and specific tasks excluding the direct customer service in the scope indicated below:

Since the 1st of February 2020, the United Kingdom is no longer a member of the European Union. Following a general election, parliament ratified the withdrawal agreement, and the UK left the EU at 11 p.m. GMT on 31 January 2020, to be precise.

Pursuant to the agreement on withdrawal from the EU, the “transitional period” will last until the end of 2020. As a result, the rules for crossing the border and stay of UK citizens and their family members in Poland will remain unchanged.
