Unified Appointment Registration Rules

We are pleased to inform you that starting from July 8, 2024, we are standardizing the procedures for booking and handling appointments for the following services:

  • Personal appearance
  • Fingerprints
  • Travel/identity document

For all cases handled at the Department*:

Appointments to address the aforementioned requirements must be registered through the case status tracking page. Visits will be managed using a ticket machine system, eliminating the need for personal calls to clients.

Change in the Rules for Handling Fingerprint Completion Visits

We would like to inform you that, starting from 17/06/2024, we are changing the process for handling visits registered for personal appearance/fingerprint completion. Ultimately, these visits will be managed using a ticket machine without the need to call the customer, similar to other online bookings.

Join us for an online information meeting for Ukrainian citizens

 With the recent amendment to the Law on Assistance to Citizens of Ukraine in Connection with the Armed Conflict on the Territory of Ukraine coming into effect on 01.07.2024, we extend an invitation to an online information meeting for Ukrainian citizens.

The meeting is scheduled to take place on the MS Teams platform on 09.07.2024, starting at 09:00.

25th anniversary in the Provincial Police Headquarters in Poznań

On May 24, 2024, the Provincial Police Headquarters in Poznań celebrated the 25th anniversary of the Administrative Proceedings Department. The employees of this department perform a range of tasks daily to improve the safety of the residents of Wielkopolska Province. Their duties include, among others, providing opinions on residence applications of foreigners, for which they constantly cooperate with our Department for Foreigners.

We want to alert you that recently, we have identified cases of impersonation of employees from the Department for Foreigners, The Office of Wielkopolska Province in Poznan. These individuals may attemt to contact you by phone, pretending to be officials, with the intent to extort personal information, financial data, or money.

Additional submission point at the Department for Foreigners in Poznań - UPDATE

We kindly inform you that starting from 6th May 2024, the opening hours of submission points located at Plac Wolności 17 will change. 

Here are the opening hours for the Submission Point at Service Room A:

Monday to Friday: 8:15 am to 3:15 pm

Here are the opening hours for the Submission Point at Service Room B:

Monday to Friday: 11:45 am to 3:15 pm

The above-described organization of the submission points in Poznań will be in force until further notice.

Ukrainian Youth in Poznan: Join Our Online Survey for a European Research Project!

Scientists from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań are conducting a survey among young Ukrainians (aged 18-24) as part of a research project carried out in collaboration with universities in Freiburg and Thessaloniki.

The approximately 10-minute survey can be found AT THIS link.

The survey is dedicated to young Ukrainians aged between 18 and 24 living in Poznań.
